Thank You for Me is based on Rick Recht’s song, Kobi’s Lullaby. It tells the story of a child who realises he has a lot to be thankful for — everything from the moon and the sun to his nose and his toes.
“Thank You for Me is a story about gratitude and blessing,” explains Rick in a related press release. “It’s about how incredibly fortunate we are to have family, friends, our community, our health and the nature that surrounds us. In our home, we say these words every night as part of our Recht family bedtime rituals as we give thanks for our blessings. It's really wonderful to know that, through this book, families all around the world will also share in this ritual of thanks and celebration.”
