Have You Seen One of Our Pop Up Libraries?

Team PJ are particularly excited about our latest partnership with Jewish Care, the largest health and social care organisation serving the Jewish community in London and the South East.

Nine PJ Pop-Up libraries have become permanent fixtures at Jewish Care homes, enabling young children and care home residents to come together for storytime. They have already been hugely popular bringing smiles to everyone.

By building connections between the different generations, PJ Library and Jewish Care aim to bring the community together and help children grow their confidence and communication skills.

Stories in the Park

We will also be taking part in the Jewish Care Family Fun Day on the 16th June in Aldenham Country Park to bring Jewish books to life through interactive story-telling! The event will run from 12-5pm and as well as story-telling, there will be face painting, bouncy castles, bungee trampolines, arts and craft and traditional fairground stalls such as hook a duck.

For older children, there will be go-karts, laser quest and last man standing.

There will be a stage area with performances from primary schools and dance troupes as well as plenty of food and drink options to choose from including a fully-Kosher BBQ, hot drinks, cakes and treats for all the family. Hope you can join us on the 16th!
