The joy of welcoming a new baby into the family is the subject of Happy, Happy. This colourful book depicts some milestones of a child’s first year: coming home from the hospital, meeting family for the first time, a first tooth, a first smile. To these universal moments the book adds some specifically Jewish touches -- the family is gathered around the table for the baby’s first Shabbat meal and each event is accompanied by a Hebrew phrase alongside the English.
