PJ Library have teamed up with ShabbatUK to give away Shabbat-themed books as part of the 2016 celebrations - perfect for a children’s service, cheder or baby and toddler group!
Andrea from ShabbatUK HQ explained:
“This year ShabbatUK’s theme is ‘Shabbat sharing,’ which could mean lighting candles together with friends or family, joining a communal meal, or inviting a neighbour for Shabbat lunch. There will also be over 75 Challah Makes around the country – find out if there is one near you.”
Register here for a free book if you are running a ShabbatUK programme, and look out for one of these four Shabbat tiles arriving in the post soon:
My First Shabbat Board Book - great book for toddlers learning about Friday night and Shabbat
The Cricket and the Ant - the famous Aesop’s fable with a Shabbat twist
Kayla and Kugel - get ready for Shabbat with Kugel the dog!
Shai’s Shabbat Walk - celebrate Shabbat by taking a break from weekly activities
However you and your family choose to be part of ShabbatUK, we look forward to sharing Shabbat with you!
