Sponsor: The sponsor of the Refer-a-Friend Programme is the Harold Grinspoon Foundation® (“HGF”). PJ Library UK is a programme of HGF.
Eligibility: No purchase, payment, or donation is necessary to participate. This programme is open to PJ Library subscriber families referring friends under the age of 9 for PJ Library enrolment in the United Kingdom.
Promotion Entry Period: The Refer-a-Friend Programme begins on December 1, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. GMT and ends at 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2024, GMT (“Entry Period”).
Referral Procedures:
PJ Library shall make a personal referral link available to subscribers. Only one referral link will be given per family. Subscribers are encouraged to email or text their personal referral link to their friends who would be interested in PJ Library.
If a referred friend enrols in PJ Library during the Entry Period and such enrolment has been approved by a PJ Library Community partner, you will receive two PJ Library® books in either Hebrew or Russian as a thank-you gift. Each PJ Library subscriber is only eligible for one thank-you gift.
Only approved enrolments are eligible for the Hebrew and Russian PJ Library book gifts.
Second-language books delivery: Enrolment approvals will be completed by January 19, 2025. The second-language books will be sent to participating families in the United Kingdom by February 9, 2025. No cash alternative or substitution of gift will be allowed. The second-language books will be sent to the participating families’ address currently on file with PJ Library UK.
The prizes are nontransferable.
General Conditions: The Refer-a-Friend Programme is governed by the laws of England and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. By participating, entrants (a) agree that they have read and understood and agree to be bound by these Official Rules; (b) release the HGF, its directors, employees, agents, officers, and partners, from any liability, loss (including late, lost, or undeliverable mail), or injury caused directly or indirectly, by participation or the use or misuse of any prize, (c) agree that the HGF has the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this giveaway at our discretion, (d) agree that the HGF has the right to disqualify any individual for violating the Official Rules, including, but not limited to, tampering or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Programme or website or violating these Official Rules.
Promotions: By participating in PJ Library’s Refer-a-Friend Programme, you understand and agree that HGF, anyone acting on behalf of HGF, and HGF licensees, successors, partners, and assigns, may, where permitted by law, print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your name and county and statements about the Refer-a-Friend Programme, for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. If you do not want your name and county to be made available in the event that you win the second-language PJ Library books, please let us know by emailing skibel@pjlibrary.org.uk.
